Guanyintang Wetland Park is one of the best examples of "small and beautiful". It is the first national-level wetland park in Chongqing and a national 4A-level scenic spot. The park covers an area of 623 acres and has a water surface of 200 acres. The park is devoted to the concept of "Nature, Culture and the Future". With Bayu culture as the background, it absorbs the profound and rich historical and cultural connotation of Bishan. There are such scenic spots as Champion Bridge, Tiger Peak Tower, Donglin Pavilion, Maolaixuan, Laser Music Fountain, Science Museum, Dieshui Platform, Guanshui Bridge, etc. in the park. It fully embodies the three functions of "ecological leisure and entertainment", "wetland science popularization education" and "history and culture inheritance", integrating wetland, science popularization, leisure and culture. In December 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, Guanyintang Wetland Park became a national urban wetland park. The establishment of this national name card fully reflects the recognition of Bishan’s adherence to the concept of "green development, ecological priority". It is more conducive to enhancing the ecological protection awareness of the people and all sectors of society, and realizing the harmonious coexistence between hunman and the nature.
Chongqing Dayuanxiang Museum was established in 2013 and is now a national tertiary museum. The museum is located in the industrial site "Tianfu bowl factory" in Bishan District, which has a history of more than 160 years. In 2018, Dayuanxiang Museum was selected as "Chongqing primary and secondary school social practice education base", "Bishan primary and secondary school social practice education base" and "Bishan district cadre education and training folk culture on-site pedagogy base". In 2019, the "red culture theme exhibition hall" will become a red education base and a demonstration site of "double strength and six excellence" of Party construction. As a key cultural relics protection unit at national level, a national scenic spot and national grade AAAA tourist attraction, Shibaozhai is located at the north bank of the Yangtze River, 45 km away in the east of urban Zhongxian county. It was built during the regime of emperor Wanli of Ming dynasty and was renovated and expanded several times from the period of the regime of emperor Kangxi to emperor Tongzhi. It has been around for over 400 years.
